Convolvulus Pleuricaulis is used as tonic, alterative and febrifuge used in fever, nervous debility and loss of memory. The whole herb is used medicinally in the form of decoction with cumin and milk in fever, nerv- ous debility, loss of memory, also in syphilis, and scrofula. This herb is used as a brain tonic and is used as a tonic, alterative and febrifuge. It has sovereign remedies in bowel complaints especially dysentery. It is also used as a psycho stimulant and tranquilizer. The ethanolic extract of the plant reduces total serum cho- lesterol, triglycerides, phospholipids and nonesterfied fatty-acid.
Home remedies:
Its Swarasa should be taken in Hemet emesis. Daily intake of this herb produces Rasayana effects and in- creases memory.
