Terminalia Arjona is a heart tonic. It lowers blood pressure and regularizes blood circulation in the heart. A stringent and diuretic in cirrhosis and in the cases of obesity. It is considered to be acrid and credited with styptic, febrifugal and ant dysenteric properties.

Home remedies:
Internal use of stem bark powder of Arjuna daily provides cardio protective effects. It is described in Ayurveda as a tonic for heart disease. Its Ksheerpaka is highly effective to normalize high blood pressure and also acts as cardio protective. It can be used as paste for applying on fracture of the bones.
